White House Fever

Synopsis:

It is 1962.

Uma, 18, suddenly finds herself transported from the classroom to the epicenter of power – the White House.

As an intern with no experience of the world, she finds herself utterly intoxicated by the charm, the excitement and the inclusiveness of the Kennedy Administration.

Within hours of her arrival, she is invited to swim with the President in his private pool.

By day’s end, she will come to know the President in a way that will change her life forever.

Thirty-odd years later – married, with three children and six grandchildren – she is prompted by Clinton’s denial of his affair with another young intern, Monica Lewinsky, to own her past.

In this, the third and final installment of Elisha’s trilogy – Presidential Suite (made up of The Schelling Point, Love Field and White House Fever) – we confront the emotional schism that allows ordinary people to do terrible things.
