Trigger Warning (excerpt)

Synopsis:

Horvath, a cartoonist of some repute for a daily newspaper, draws a cartoon that is critical of Islam and, without Simone, his editor’s permission, posts it.

All hell breaks loose in the streets and Simone is kidnapped, with a threat to behead her within 48 hours unless Horvath surrenders himself – which he then does.

This is a play that tests the both the limits and the very meaning of trigger warnings.
