In recent years, there has been a tendency to define people in terms of the trauma they have suffered.
‘Trauma Plot’ tells the complex, intersecting tale of two nuns, two priests, a therapist, a journalist and an historian. In so doing, it confronts human suffering head-on, forcing us to question our notions of personal accountability, faith, religion, God and the place in our lives occupied by what has come to be known as ‘the trauma plot’.
