This Is Not A Drill (excerpt)

Synopsis:

Four high school students locked in a safe-room, in the dark, during a school lockdown.

Is it simply a drill?  What’s going on outside?  Should we try to make a run for it?

These are some of the many questions confronting Lamonte, Chiara, Mark and Nicole in this potentially life-and-death situation.

The narrative unwinds, the pressure builds and the climax results in tragedy – but not in the way one might have expected.
