Synopsis:
Two Albert Einsteins have been detained at St Luke’s psychiatric hospital. One is under suspicion of the statutory rape of a 14-year-old girl 27 years earlier and the other has tried to set himself on fire in order to save the world from destruction.
Dr Maxine Born has been called in to make an assessment of their mental state.
The Einstein who attempted self-immolation is clutching a thick manuscript which he claims contains a coherent Unified Field Theory. A review by a mathematics professor finds that this is in fact true.
In a mind-bending play that riffs on Special Relativity, we begin to question our notions of sanity, morality and accountability.
