Synopsis:

Charlie Douglass, the inventor of the ‘Laff Box’ – the concept of ‘canned laughter’ – takes us on a journey from the Red Skelton Show right through to the edge of the solar system and beyond, in an exploration of life, death and the meaning of Shakespeare’s soliloquy on Yorick.
