Synopsis:

The Capgras delusion, named after the French psychiatrist, Joseph Capgras, is a psychiatric disorder in which a person holds a delusion that a friend, spouse, parent, other close family member, or pet has been replaced by an identical impostor.

The play explores themes of identity, love, and the psychological intricacies of human relationships. The narrative unfolds around Emile, who believes that his wife, Stella, has been replaced by an impostor.  This delusion leads him to seek answers and confront the reality of his situation, culminating in a dramatic exploration of trust and betrayal.

The play ultimately raises questions about the essence of love and the fragility of human connections.
