Description

Synopsis:

Gina consults Gus, a therapist, about the fact that her husband of 14 years, Dean, has been somewhat distant since their trip to Spain.

He suggests seeing them together, but she insists that Dean, who denies there’s a problem, would never agree to it.

Alexis, an old patient of Gus’, tells him she’s fallen in love.  But the man is married, with two kids.  Turns out his name is Dean.

Together, this threesome – Gina, Alexis and Gus – navigate the tragedy that is being played out by the flamenco dancers.

Flamenco is all about evoking the spirit of ‘duende’ – a kind of life force, an attitude, the primal striking of a defiant posture in the face of outrageous fortune.
