Synopsis:

A highly stylized piece which probes the nature of human volition – or, more accurately, our lack thereof.

The central character, ADAM, retracing the key memories of his early childhood, is gradually reduced to a state of mannequin-like catatonia.

Character Breakdown:

The play is a six-hander:  3 females, 3 males – all except ADAM and the DRESSER playing multiple characters.

Production History:  Public reading at the Griffin Theatre, Sydney, 1995.

Running-time: 70 minutes.
