Synopsis:

Reuben, who had a terrible relationship with his mother, has always had a problem with touch, closeness.  This has left him feeling extraordinarily isolated in the world.

Consequently, he has sought out the services of Maia, a certified cuddle therapist.

‘Skin Hunger’ traces the progress of their relationship over a decade, delving deep into notions of trust, faith, love, connectedness and the power of touch.
