Synopsis:
A modern riff on the story of Eunice Foote, a women’s rights campaigner and the female scientist, born in 1819, who discovered the Greenhouse Effect.
In ‘Sentiments’, she appears as a ghostlike presence at a present-day school where an alleged rape has taken place.
Through the narrative that emerges, we are led to the place where misogyny and climate change intersect, with potentially catastrophic results.
Running-Time: 90 minutes.
Production History: Not yet produced.
