Synopsis:

When Sally Ride, America’s first female astronaut, died, she was inadvertently outed as a lesbian in her New York Times obituary.

Her decision to remain closeted was roundly criticised, but ‘Ride!’ will give you a far greater appreciation of where she was coming from.

In an inspiring piece of music-theatre, we explore the life and loves of a woman who had to overcome enormous obstacles to achieve what she did.
