Synopsis:
All that Nirvana’s parents ever told her was that they wanted her to be happy.
She experienced that pronouncement as pressure, but had no idea how to go about being happy.
‘Reaching Nirvana’ is a picaresque piece which follows Nirvana’s search for happiness, taking in her parents’ journeys along the way.
We sometimes feel happy, but it’s rare that we actually think about happiness. This is a play that encourages you to do just that.
