People Pretending To Be Other People (excerpt)

Synopsis:

In order to win the lead role in an upcoming movie, ADVIK must prove that he is a convicted murderer.  Together with his virtual wife, Marilyn, he hatches a plan.

Meanwhile, DESIREE, a trans woman, consults VIVIAN, a lawyer, about a conflict she has had with a lactation consultant, VALERIE.

A complex set of interactions is set in motion, whereby the paths of the various characters cross in ways that sorely test the whole notion of identity.
