Synopsis:

Bobbie Maguire is sixteen years of age.

She has just left home in Fort Worth, Texas, and has landed in Dallas, where she hopes to make her mark in the world.

But she’s not the only person headed for Dallas.

The next morning, President Kennedy’s plane touches down at Love Field.

Bobbie’s search for work that morning weaves its meandering path through the very heart of one of the defining moments in American history.

In a sequence of events that is beguiling, often surprising and ultimately shattering, Bobbie comes face to face with a reality that belies everything she was ever taught back home.

November , in a sense, is the story of one girl’s coming of age, told from the adult perspective (2003) of Senator Roberta Maguire, a woman poised on the verge of the Presidency.

It is a subtle, ostensibly gentle, yet profoundly searching exploration of a system that promotes assassination as a mode of both personal and political expression.

It is a glimpse into America’s very heart, from someone who was there when it missed a beat.
