Zahara, a black woman who lives alone in a tiny, rundown apartment, starts receiving handwritten letters from one Abraham Lincoln.
Though she’s suspicious that it represents some sort of scam, the fact that the letters are handwritten on expensive paper and addressed specifically to her incline her towards entering into a correspondence with said A. Lincoln.
