Synopsis:
Left Of Bang consists of a complex web of narratives that intersect at various points.
The characters include Blake, a lawyer who finds himself on the wrong side of the law; Allegra, a trans woman activist who is the unwitting beneficiary of an illegal act; Bo, a Chinese Head of Department at a university, who finds herself at the intersection of a conflict of politically correct interests; Tina, an upper middleclass businesswoman who breaks the law for her daughter’s sake; Vlad, an underworld figure who is erudite, worldly, cultured and without conscience; Yaffa, a famous Israeli actress who dares to take on a role she hasn’t lived; Adele, a pornographer cum chef; Malcolm, a prison coach turned vigilante; Daniel, head of the Church of the True Faith, a somewhat nefarious collector of artefacts, both religious and sacrilegious; Cheryl, Daniel’s wife, carried along on the crest of his wrongdoing.
Between them, these characters create a road map that places their world on a collision course with itself – one that could’ve been predicted, but wasn’t.
Alas, their world is ours.
