Synopsis:
Tilly, a career diplomat, sacrificed her career in order to grant a young Chinese dissident, Quinyang, asylum in Australia.
Unbeknownst to Quinyang, who continues her political activism in Australia, Tilly has fallen in love with her.
By way of retaliation, the Chinese government orders the poisoning of Tilly using a nerve agent.
We find her in ICU, in multi-organ failure, Quinyang at her side.
One by one, Tilly’s three children arrive from various locations overseas, and must decide their mother’s fate.
