Jew – The Musical

Synopsis:

This outrageous, klezmer-based satire places an ancient Adolf Hitler on trial by the Jews.

The ultimate punishment, it is decided, is that he must undergo conversion to Judaism, with all that that entails, including circumcision, a bar-mitzvah, a wedding, an unremitting orgy of bacchanalian klezmer and, of course, Jewish food – the hope being that he will begin to understand the people he has attempted to eradicate from the surface of the earth.

In the end, for lack of hard evidence of blood on his hands, it is decided that he must ritually execute a Jew.

Comedy at its blackest and most profound.
