Synopsis:
As the director of the country’s leading state-run gallery, Sonia is about to mount the largest exhibition of the works of Paul Gauguin ever seen outside of France.
Uniq, a 21-year-old intern, chosen through an AI interview, arrives at the gallery on day one and announces that it is her intention to completely restructure what she regards as a patriarchal, colonialist, white supremacist, misogynist organisation, doing everything in her power to disrupt the upcoming exhibition.
She is immediately fired and lodges a formal complaint, which is then mediated, unsuccessfully.
There are violent demonstrations outside the gallery, a $300 million Gauguin painting is stolen and Uniq is arrested.
As the legal machine grinds on, the massive chasm between the generations widens.
