Damien

Synopsis:

A gentle soul by nature, Damien has been pressured into the football team by his father, in order that he might ‘man up’.

There he encounters Laurie, the team captain, who sees it as his role to brutalise all new recruits.

Desperate not to be singled out for cruel and unusual punishment by the team, he partakes of the rum they steal, swallows the pills they press into his palm and, on one fateful night, joins in an activity that will end one life and change his forever.
