Synopsis:
Blaise has phoned her life partner, Gabriel, threatening that she is about to slash her wrists. She has done this before. He tries to talk her down.
In the midst of the call, Yunus bursts in, wielding a knife. He tosses a cigarette packet onto the desk and demands to know the source of the photograph on it – a photograph of an amputated lower limb.
Meanwhile, Blaise carries out her threat, and more.
What unfolds is the horrific story of one man’s battle to restore meaning to his life in the midst of one woman’s attempt to extinguish it.
In a piece that ranges all the way from bizarre comedy through to life-threatening drama, we are forced to re-examine our beliefs about the meaning of life.
