Synopsis:

Painted on a massive, sweeping canvas, this three part epic of the American tragedy, played out by 7 actors portraying 40 roles – all the way from Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee through to Donald Trump, from humble waitresses to lofty judges, from P.T. Barnum to Martin Luther King Jnr, from the sublime to the ridiculous – plumbs the depths of the Original Sin that has blighted the American republic from day one:  Slavery.

An extraordinary journey with an apocalyptic climax, Children Of The Confederacy was shortlisted for the Patrick White Award in 2019.
