Attention Deficit

Synopsis:

Jason’s young life has been severely impacted by the effects of ADHD.

His father, Eric, has just been anointed Australian Of The Year for his tireless work in setting up a foundation to bring greater awareness of ADHD to a broader public.

Because of the way in which the foundation has flourished, Eric’s wife, Kynza, has been left to do all of the heavy lifting with the children, particularly Jason.

Finding Eric to be distant and preoccupied, she seeks out comfort from a mutual friend, Alvie.

Just as it seems to Eric that he has achieved in life all that he desired, his daughter, Molly, does something that brings it all tumbling down, leaving us to ponder the things we prioritise in life, the choices we make, the values we live.
