Blanche is a lecturer in mathematics, fast approaching 50. Her life is ordered in the way that numbers are ordered – with a certain logic.
In stark contrast to this, Melanie – an earthy massage therapist in her 20s – lives life on sheer instinct.
In the ordinary course of events, these two people would never connect.
But Blanche’s friends have joined together to buy her a gift voucher for her birthday. Something that will help her relax, they hope. A massage.
The stage is set for a journey upon which neither woman every dreamed she would embark.
