Synopsis:

The first Presidential debate between President Gerald Ford and Governor Jimmy Carter was held on September 23, 1976.

80 minutes into the debate, there was a loss of sound from the stage.

This lasted for a full 27 minutes.

What transpired in the minds of these two men as they stood behind their lecterns for the full 27 minutes has remained a mystery..

.. until now.
