Description

Synopsis:

Nora is in the car, motor running, waiting for her partner – whom she refers to as ‘his lordship’ – to come back down from their flat with ‘some notes’.

But, as always, he’s taking his sweet time, so she decides to hold the fort, as it were, with the audience, talking first about his lordship’s pecadilloes, and then, as she gets into it, about them – their lives, their history together, their biography as told from an automobile.

It’s the chronicle of a woman who has spent her adult life tending the ego of a male playwright – a wild ride but one that, given the chance again, she might not have embarked upon.
